I decided to explore more with my technique here, digital art is all about layering if your wonder. If you are ever working with digital art and wait to make a 3D look or even a painter look layering is your best friend. However, you can still work on one layer and have a painter effect as well. However, I sketched out a cartoonish version of what I thought Charlie would look like if she was a bird. After, I added colors under the rough line art sketch, and added lighting and shading to bring out the image more. Then we come to the layering technique, with many different layers a build up different textures and colors with using different photoshop brushes. With the background finished with different gradients and textures used, the floating balls of light were last which was a simple overlay and a circler photoshop brush stamp. In the end, we have Charo, Charlie, and birds together!
