Hello and greetings! It's been quite a while since I've posted anything or made any updates. I will be creating regular updates for now on out, and a lot of my planning stages for big projects will be here on my website! I plan on creating a new layout for my website from scratch to have a new and more engaging appearance. (Stay tuned for that!)

Over the years, I've been brainstorming ideas for my character Sunnie, and recently, my plans for Sunnie have been coming to the surface. One of the biggest problems I've had with Sunnie's story is having too many. My biggest challenge is condensing Sunnie's story into one short film. The story goes, at a young age, Sunnie was abandoned by his family, leaving him confused with his identity. Being curious about his family, he goes in search of them while at the same time, creating new friends and discovering himself. (In the end, he discovers his family is within his friendships rather than his true family.)

Some artists that give me daily inspiration consist of:

At a young age, I got invested in Ava's demons webcomics; Today, I still continuously follow through with the regular updates because of the beautifully crafted artworks. Michelle Czajkowski is a huge inspiration to me, and I admire her technique and style. (I especially adore her story!)

I originally found out about Colorless because of Ava's Demons because of the creator Michelle Czajkowski sponsors and also collaborates with the project. Colorless has a similar art style as to Ava's Demons; however, with a completely different story and vibe. I take inspiration from the content and visual aspects of the story. (Any art made by Michelle is art candy to my eyes.)

When looking at Lily Vans art style, I become encapsulated with the child-like art style that screams adorable! Her simple yet appealing style reminds me that you can create art that may be simplistic yet effective. Rather than going fully rendered and realistic, her art style challenges on how people view art.

When I look at Chris Hong's artwork from a distance I see a very well crafted art piece; additionally, when I get closer, I see all the little quirks and art strokes that make up what the artwork truly is. She reminds me that it's ok to make mistakes and how we can incorporate those "errors" into our artwork.

In my art class, I had a critique with some of my classmates. There came concerns across the problem I mention early with me getting off task from the central idea for my story. To get this problem situated, I will be planning out most of my process and reviewing all my ideas through before rushing in and craving to get my ideas done imminently.
